SHELL ROTELLA® T1

Wear protection that promotes engine durability through:

  1. Low ash content, minimizing formation of deposits and helping to keep intake ports clean

  4. Optimized dispersant content to help prevent engine sludge and varnish deposits.

Application

  • Shell Rotella® T1 oils are suitable for use in many turbo- and non-turbocharged light/medium-duty diesel-powered trucks and transport operations, including city operations and long-distance service.
  • Shell Rotella® T1 can provide dependable lubrication for small-to-medium-agricultural equipment, such as tractors. Also suitable for many low/medium-powered stationary applictions such as diesel-powered water pumps, generators, etc.
  • Shell Rotella® T1 is suitable for use in mobile hydraulic and transmission systems, as well as for stop-start conditions in construction, mining, or quarry operations, protecting against bearing wear and deposit formation. Not recommended for high-speed engines.

SHELL ROTELLA T5

Shell Rotella® T5 10W-30 diesel engine oil with Triple Protection Plus™ technology uses synthetic base oils plus advanced additive technology to provide protection against wear, deposits and oil breakdown.

  • Improved oxidation protection under extreme conditions compared to CJ-4 oils
  • Demonstrated protection against oxidation and corrosion in the presence of biodiesel
  • Extended drain capabilities

Shell Rotella® T5 Synthetic Blend is designed to provide hard working protection that adapts to your driving conditions PLUS:

  1. Provides excellent wear protection, well beyond the common recommended oil drain interval of 50,000 miles demonstrated through oil analysis during millions of miles of field testing. So you can rest assured that Shell Rotella® T5 10W-30 will protect your engine like a heavier viscosity engine oil such as Shell Rotella® T4 15W-40.
  2. Better cold cranking properties and better low temperature pumpability at – 25 degrees C and – 30 degrees C, respectively. That means it reaches critical engine parts faster in colder temperatures, to minimize wear and make hard work easier in harsh climates.
  3. Demonstrated protection against oxidation and corrosion in the presence of biodiesel
  4. The low ash formulation in our synthetic disel oil helps protect the exhaust catalysts and particulate filters found on the latest low emission vehicles. It is suitable for use in all on or off highway engines requiring an API CK-4, CJ-4, CI-4 or CH-4 diesel oil in this viscosity grade.

Better Fuel Economy
Through the use of Shell’s most advanced technology, Shell Rotella® T6 5W-40 synthetic heavy duty engine oil offers enhanced fuel economy capability of 1.5%* that can save money in fuel consumption, without compromising engine protection or durability. *Compared to 15W-40 oils.

Shell Rotella® T6 5W-40 full synthetic provides a significantly increased level of protection against harmful engine wear when compared to previous generation API CJ-4 synthetic engine oils.

Improved Deposit Control
The advanced multi-functional dispersant additives in combination with synthetic base oils provide an enhanced level of protection against the effects of soot, dirt and other contaminants in heavy duty diesel engines.

Improved Heat Resistance
Shell Rotella® T6 full synthetic heavy duty engine oil resists breakdown by heat to provide continuous protection throughout the service interval.

Emissions System Compatibility
Advanced low-ash formulation helps control blocking of or poisoning of exhaust after-treatment devices, helping maintain vehicle emission compliance and diesel engine fuel efficiency.

100% Synthetic 4 Stroke Motorcycle engine oil
